Brent Erickson Claims first Win on the

Limited Classic Open Champion Brent Erickson

Brent Erickson claimed his first win in the Will Rogers Coliseum last night in the 2018 Lucas Oil NCHA Super Stakes Classic Limited Open Finals! The California native rode Reyefied (Dual Rey x Shes A Smooth Cat), owned by Dacole Investment Company, marking a standout 221 to take home the $9,976 Champion's check.

Brent has had a great deal of success throughout his career already having amassed over $600,000 in lifetime earnings but to make the finals on the "big stage" then on top of that to win was very special to him. He and his help just had the strategy of staying clean and letting the run build as so many do going into a finals. It is hard to make that happen when the adrenalin is pumping and you are in the moment! It all worked just how they hoped, and as the run went on the confidence built for this duo. "Lucky" is a gelding that is just coming into his own and the whole team is excited for his future!
