Lindy grew up in Farmington, California where her mother trained Western Pleasure horses and jumpers. She grew up showing in these disciplines and it was not until later in life that she was introduced to the sport of cutting. Lindy was given a full ride volleyball scholarship to Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky which led her to the South and then to Allen Crouch, who was the first cutting horse trainer she worked under. He taught her how to start colts on cattle and the basics of the industry. She then worked for Tommy Marvin leading her in the direction of her position, as a trainer for Burns Arena. Two years ago Lindy purchased her own place where she specializes in breaking and training two year olds. She also shows in limited age events along with weekend shows. Her program is beginner friendly and her place open for lessons.
